Verena Kattinger

Verena Kattinger was born in Munich. Salzburg has been her adopted home since 2019. She therefore enjoys the freedom of movement offered by the EU.
Doing something meaningful has always been important to Verena. During her bachelor’s degree in media production and technology and her master’s degree in communication science, she engaged herself as a student trainee in graphics and public relations at an environmental organization in Munich. She then worked in a cultural organization in Salzburg and in marketing at Caritas Salzburg. During a business trip to the Middle East espacially to Syria, she experienced first-hand the effects that an autocracy can have. She now wants to promote democracy, European values and the rule of law in Austria at ICNM for ProEuropeanValuesAT.
