ACTIVIST EVENT MANAGEMENT PROFESSIONAL (m/f/d)
We are the WSA team at ICNM, a purpose driven NGO which is dedicated to best practices in using digital technologies and high-quality media to address social issues locally with the strengths of globally connected community.
We work on the basis of UN principles and Human Rights and reach 182 countries with our main initiative World Summit Awards (https://wsa-global.org).
We collaborate with digital social impact experts and serve a community of social entrepreneurs to give them a global stage and recognition for their work. We build networking capital and creative connections to reinforce social business models. We organize transformative events and enthusiastically cooperate. We initiate wonderful engagements and seek to provide great content.
We need YOUR passion and expert hands for the following responsibilities:
+ You are able to organize smaller workshops with 25 people and big events with over 500.
+ You can convert WSA objectives into creative formats for people meeting and networking
+ You love details in preparation and feedback for optimization
+ You are quick in writing and editing invitations, announcements and reports.
+ You know about strategies to involve audiences and meet interests using social media
+ You care about planning technical and staging details
+ You collaborate well in a team and smart in reporting and coordination
+ You share in the joy of event organization and execute admin stuff
Ideally YOU have the following competencies and skills:
+ You have professional qualifications and experience in event management and organization
+ You work easily with office applications and CRM data bases
+ You are firm in German and English and easy with other languages
+ You love to work in a team, organize yourself independently, report in structured manner
+ You meet flexibly daily requirements and like working with people from different cultures
+ You are bubbling over with ideas and your creativity lets you create fresh approaches to events
